Digital Leaders Now Expands Digital Literacy to Seniors in Partnership with Esperanza Health Centers
Digital Leaders Now and Esperanza Health Centers have partnered to offer free bilingual digital literacy classes for seniors through the Cyber Navigators initiative.
Digital Leaders Now (DLN) announced a new partnership with Esperanza Health Centers – Panorama / PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) to deliver free digital literacy programming for seniors and older adults. The program is part of DLN’s Cyber Navigators initiative, which provides free bilingual digital skills education through trusted community partners.
Why This Matters
Everyday activities—from managing healthcare appointments to staying connected with family—now depend on digital confidence. Yet, many seniors face barriers to access, knowledge, and trust in technology.
By bringing digital literacy training directly into community health spaces, DLN and Esperanza are addressing a critical gap.
This effort supports seniors in maintaining independence, improving health outcomes, and remaining engaged with their communities.
Building Digital Confidence
The new program introduces participants to essential digital skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. Seniors will explore practical topics such as staying safe online, communicating with loved ones, accessing health information, and even using technology for entertainment.
The emphasis is on confidence, safety, and independence—skills that help seniors integrate technology into daily life on their own terms.
“Technology can be a lifeline for seniors by helping them manage their health, stay in touch with loved ones, and maintain independence,” said Lionel Rodriguez, Chief Operating Officer of Digital Leaders Now. “By teaming up with Esperanza, we get to bring that lifeline right into a place where seniors already feel comfortable. Our goal is to make learning tech feel friendly and doable so that everyone can stay connected and independent.”
